Join Us at Our Brace for Impact Webinar on Inclusivity!

When we attended the event where the British Council’s report on “The State of Social Enterprise in Hong Kong” was released, we couldn’t help but think, “There needs to be a more critical response to the report, so that we can find a better forward to improve the social impact space in Hong Kong and drive systems change.

So we decided to host a webinar series for that very purpose.

We would like to invite you to the first in our Brace for Impact Webinar Series on 23 March 2021 to discuss the issue of representation, diversity and inclusion in the social impact space in Hong Kong. We are pondering:

  • How diverse and inclusive is Hong Kong’s social impact space in terms of race, culture, gender etc.?
  • Should social enterprises self-regulate and demand certain levels of diversity?
  • Can a non-diverse organization really be considered a “social enterprise”?

The Brace for Impact Webinar will start with an open conversation, followed by a more interactive discussion session. To prepare for the discussion, please read the British Council report on “The State of Social Enterprise in Hong Kong” here on Weava, and submit your questions for discussion in advance to info@shared-impact.com.

We look forward to meeting you and hearing your insights and constructive feedback on the issue!

Register for the virtual event here, and get in touch with us on info@shared-impact.com should you have any questions.
